Down With Corporate Censorship: Reinstate SEP/SWP (UK) Facebook Sites Immediately!
The Bolshevik Tendency protests the gross violations of free speech carried out by Facebook when it blocked various pages of the Socialist Equality Party (SEP) and the Socialist Workers Party (UK) on Friday 22 January.
While we have important political differences with the comrades of both the SEP and SWP (UK) we regard their suppression as a sinister threat to the entire left and workers’ movement. It is the duty of all socialists, indeed all defenders of the democratic right to free speech, to demand that all remaining censored sites be immediately reinstated and that no further censorship of left-wing sites occur.
